A review of ServerPronto's dedicated web hosting that features low cost servers with lots of OS and control panel choices.

ServerPronto.com is different than the company’s usually reviewed here at Webhostingfinds.com because it is a dedicated web hosting provider. They market themselves as the “world’s most affordable dedicated server” and their servers are just that - very cheap.

ServerPronto does back their cheap servers, though. They offer a 99.9% network uptime guarantee. This doesn’t cover the hardware, but does cover the company’s network. They claim to have superior bandwidth and top of the line servers. Before taking any of those agreements and promises to heart, though, be careful to read their terms of service and any other legal documents. It is a good idea to review and understand those before believing any of the marketing speak.

ServerPronto’s pricing and packages is complicated at best. The servers start at $29.95 per month with a $69 setup fee and go all the way up to $249.95 per month with a $149 setup fee. There are lots of addons and extra charges if you want things like cPanel, a managed firewall, or extra bandwidth. Keep in mind that most of those addons and upgrades are standard in the industry – they are not unique to ServerPronto.

All of ServerPronto’s servers are self-managed, so it is up to you to make the server work. The company mainly offers support over its ticket system and phone calls can be arranged for individual incidents or time periods.

If you want a bare bones dedicated server at a low price, ServerPronto is a good choice.
