Unify Shared Edition 4.0 installs over existing HMC and Non-HMC deployments. The major upgrade of Ensim’s communications and collaboration management center for service providers, will be released in June, 2007. Unify Shared Edition 4.0 is designed to allow service providers to provision and manage Microsoft Exchange 2007 and SharePoint Services 3.0 in a wide range of deployment scenarios, such as on HMC 3.5, HMC 4.0, and homegrown infrastructure.

HMC 3.5 Service providers with an existing HMC 3.5 platform can utilize Unify to deploy Microsoft Exchange 2007 and SharePoint Services 3.0 on their existing infrastructure without the need to upgrade to HMC 4.0.

Homegrown Hosted Exchange Deployments Service providers currently offering hosted Exchange on a homegrown platform can install Unify 4.0 on their infrastructure and easily deploy any of the Ensim Unify modules as hosted services without incurring significant costs.
