SingleHop Amps Net Neutrality Websites

Chicago, Illinois - (Website Hosting Directory) - February 23, 2007 - Managed web hosting provider, SingleHop, is providing servers and complete dedicated managed hosting services to freepress.net, through that website, as well as savetheinternet.com, in order to aid in its attempt to preserve “Net Neutrality.”

Zak Boca, President of SingleHop remarked, ‘’This is probably one of the most critical times for the Internet and we are going to do everything that we can to ensure that this important message is disseminated to as many people as possible.”

According to the Free Press website, ‘’Congress is being pushed to abandon the First Amendment of the Internet — a principle called ‘net neutrality’ that preserves the free and open Internet.” Free Press has posted an online petition to gather signatures that are sent to Congress to voice the opinions of those in opposition. Ben Byrne, Creative and Technical Manager of Free Press added, “We rely on strong supporters to make sure our message gets out there. Of all the managed hosting providers in the country, SingleHop stepped up to the plate and offered us robust and dependable hosting. They enable us to use the Internet to save the Internet.”
