Future Hosting Expands in UK

Novi, Michigan – (Website Hosting Directory) – March 14, 2008 – Web hosting and Internet solutions company, Future Hosting, LLC, serving small to medium sized businesses internationally, has expanded its Virtual Private Server (VPS) offerings to include a location in the United Kingdom.

The new addition marks the first time the company has added servers in Europe. The company currently offers VPS plans hosted in three major cities in the United States. In adding the United Kingdom as a location, Future Hosting hopes to tap into an emerging market for European hosting, as well as bolster its product line for North American business customers. In recent customer satisfaction surveys, many customers expressed a strong interest in overseas VPS plans.

Vik Patel, President and CEO of Future Hosting noted, ”Expanding our VPS offerings geographically remains a priority for Future Hosting, especially as we continue to focus on customers who compete in today’s global economy. Today’s announcement marks the beginning of our expansion of VPS plans overseas, in our aim to add locations of strategic importance to our network.”

Servers in the United Kingdom location will be powered by new Intel Harpertown processors, offering superior performance and load handling than existing technology. The servers will have access to a variety of external network connectivity, including Global Crossing, Tiscali, Teleglobe, Level3, LINX, and LonAP. Future Hosting utilizes over 200 peering sessions and uses the latest generation of Cisco hardware as a backbone for its network.

Managed Virtual Private Server plans from Future Hosting are hosted in Dallas, Texas; Chicago, Ill.; Seattle, Wash.; and now the United Kingdom. Introductory plans include SA-SCSI disk space and the choice of either a cPanel- or Plesk-based management platform.

All VPS plans also include the award-winning Server Doctor and Future Protect. Server Doctor, developed by Future Hosting and released in February, is a revolutionary system that provides a proactive approach to maintaining Virtual Private Servers – automating everything from account provisioning to weekly security scans. Future Protect is an innovative data protection service developed exclusively for Future Hosting customers. Using Continuous Data Protection technology, Future Protect creates complete backups every six hours of all customer data. The data is then encrypted and archived on a remote backup server.

Recently, Future Hosting opened an additional datacenter location for its Virtual Private Server (VPS) offerings, in Seattle, Washington.
Seattle offers another geographic location with distinctive advantages to help the company target local businesses and vertical markets. Namely, Seattle VPS plans are ideal for customers in northwestern parts of the United States and southwestern Canada. The location also offers lower-latency connections to most of Asia. The technical specifications of the new datacenter are very similar to the company’s other facilities, in both Chicago, Ill. and Dallas, Texas. All facilities feature redundant infrastructure, robust security, and 10G connections to the InterNap and Qwest backbones.

Managed Virtual Private Server plans from Future Hosting, hosted in Dallas, Texas; Chicago, Ill.; or now Seattle, Wash., start at $34.95/monthly. Introductory plans include 200GB of monthly data transfer and 10GB of SA-SCSI disk space. Customers can choose either a cPanel- or Plesk-based management platform.

Founded in 2001, Future Hosting is privately held Internet Solutions provider specializing in managed hosting, including both Dedicated Servers and Virtual Private Servers. The company has developed competitive pricing models, and offers a 3-hour Service Level Agreement. Future Hosting is based in Livonia, Michigan.
