		<description>Well Google allows you to use the Google Webmaster tools and select your geographical location. Even if your server is based in the US and your customer base is in UK you could still tell Google which location it should categorize you. Country specific TLDs also help. You are right it does make a difference in the speed - however if your own country's networks are slow - like in India - it's sometimes better to use servers in the US.</description>

		<description>Yep it does, a lot of studies have come out showing that the quicker your landing pages load or your ecommerce pages makes a big difference in your conversions.

Plus for content sites it makes sense, build your info close to your readers. Delays annoy and it helps your SEO.</description>
